It has been more than 12 months since the First Nation’s people of Australia delivered the Uluru Statement to Malcolm Turnbull.

This statement called for three important changes:

  • A First Nations voice, protected by the constitution
  • A Makarrata Commission to support and supervise truth telling and treaties
  • A Truth Telling.

Malcolm Turnbull has referred this important statement to a Parliamentary Committee. This committee will decide how seriously the Uluru Statement is taken.
